In the cobblestoned streets of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, woodworking families have shaped their craft across generations. Apprenticed as children, these maestros inherit not only technique but a philosophy: that a door is not a boundary. It is a welcome.
Frente was born from a deep admiration for this craft. We work directly with a small circle of trusted artisan families. No factories, no shortcuts. Every piece begins as raw timber or bare copper sheet and ends as something that will outlast us all.
We handle everything from commission to delivery, bringing these works directly to homes across the United States.

Who We Are
Ángel grew up in San Miguel de Allende surrounded by this work. His grandfather, his uncles, the families on his street. He watched these men build things by hand that he has never seen matched anywhere else.
We started Frente because we wanted to bring that work directly to you. Not a factory version. Not something pulled from a catalog. A piece made by people we know personally, built to your space, your vision, your home.
When you work with us, you work with us directly. We are involved in every commission from the first conversation to the day it ships.

Every order follows the same steps, from first contact to delivery at your home.
Inquire
Tell us what you need: dimensions, style, placement, and timeline. No commitment at this stage.
Design
We work with the craftsmen and send you hand-drawn sketches, wood samples, and a full price quote. Nothing starts until you approve it.
Craft
Your piece is built by hand in San Miguel de Allende. We photograph every stage and send updates throughout the build, typically 8 to 14 weeks.
Deliver
Freight delivery to your home anywhere in the United States. We handle customs and logistics, and can coordinate installation if needed.
